The Koi Suite has its own patio with huge red rock views. Being the north side of the house has its benefits -- it is the dimmest, coolest and quietest space in the house in the heat of the summer and is cozy and quiet all year round.
As you enter the room, look to the left and see the patio doors to the outside and views galore.

There are many reasons why we chose the colors, textures and materials incorporated into the home. All designed with Feng Shui in mind. The sink in the Koi bathroom, for example, represents the meeting of earth and water. It looks like the sand of the beach as the water has draws the grains towards the sea.
Vanity topped with tumbled stone.
To the left of the vanity is the large walk-in shower made of tumbled stone and a high-tech multi-jetted Hansgrohe shower system. Handrails for safety --While it was not designed to be handicap-accessible; this is the best room in the house for anyone who needs safe and easy access.

Adjacent to the bedroom is the parlor/sitting room. A pair of solid wood pocket doors separates the two rooms. This is the ideal room for an artist because of the consistent northern exposure. Built-in bookshelves and a comfortable window seat with awning window provide a light and airy
reading space.

This is a view from outside of the patio which surrounds the Koi Suite. It's the perfect shaded place to spend a warm afternoon at Wild Horse Mesa.
No matter what time of day no matter what season, there is a patio or balcony designed to harness the warmth of the sun or to protect you from it. This is a true all-season home with passive and active solar design.
